LivingWell Integrative Solutions
Accessibility to health care does not guarantee optimum health, just as an abundance of information does not insure understanding. As the research continues to mount informing us that health is as much about lifestyle as it is treatment, the answer to today's health dilemmas may require more than a pill, procedure or potion. After a decade of research and development Dr. Penny Koval is pleased to introduce LivingWell Integrative Solutions (LWIS).
LWIS is a collaberative effort which combines chiropractic, medicine, and psychiatry for a more comprehensive approach.
Whether you suffer from chronic pain, mental health, addiction or poor lifestyles habits LWIS can help. The level of intervention will be dependent upon the results of a LivingWell Consult. Upon completion of such consult an Integrative Health Plan (IHP) will be created and recommendations to appropriate clinical or community services will be provided. In the event clinical and/or community services are already being provided cooperation with existing care providers or resources is encouraged. However, if a cooperative effort is not available alternative options will be investigated. At all times the client and/or the family will be encouraged to maintain control of their health plan.
Integrative Health Plan (IHP)
The IHP is a three dimensional assessment that serves as a road map to improved well-being and includes activities for the spirit, mind and body. It is not meant to replace existing health services, but rather coordinate care in a manner that provides efficient utilization of resources. Through a triage process, we differentiate a medical condition from a psycho-social issue and then recommend appropriate services.
Coordinated clinical services are made available through the Naaman Center, which specializes in mental health and addictions; Renaissance Health Care, specializing in Family and Sports Medicine and WellCare Chiropractic which specializes in chiropractic, rehabilitation and integrative services. Cooperation with existing care providers is always a priority when available.
An IHP provides invaluable information about health in 3 Dimension. It provides support and encourages accessibility to local resources. It will address health issues, provide patient advocacy and support families in the journey to live well, by providing peace of mind when life and health are in crisis.
